Storing Graded Cards - Tutorial Please

Gentlemen,

Could you please give me a few pointers on sleeves and boxes and where I can purchase them? I just want to store my cards properly and I don't want to spend too much on storage. (I'd rather spend my doe on cards, than storage.) Which sleeves are best....which boxes are made for PSA graded cards? I'm not looking for fancy display cases yet...just the basics.....all pointers appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

  • PSA sells black cardboard boxes with their label for $5.00 each. They hold 60 graded cards. I think you have to be a member to order them though. Try e-mailing customer service on their site.

I strongly suggest using MJ Roop boxes.

While they discontinued making them, some members are able to get bulk orders from other sources.

Do a search and a couple of threads will pop up.

    Good luck.

    Dizzle,

Is that the cardboard or wooden box?

Not to be a debbie downer but by the looks and price of it, appears to be cardboard, but hope I'm wrong.

fyi - wooden ones normally cost $75 - $80 (delivered) when we do a bulk purchase.

These appear to be the cardboard variety for $67 including shipping. If the reinforced cardboard meets your needs, you might want to check out these instead as they are less expensive. As a disclaimer, I do not own one of these yet and cannot speak to the quality, but I saved the link a while back when another board member shared and recommended it. Personally, I will probably wait for another group buy for the wooden ones... I will dig up that thread and edit this post momentarily for everyone's reference.

    Snorto~

Edited to add bulk order thread link.
