Does anyone know if Steven Roach, the Heritage T&E attorney, has left Heritage?

I was reading the latest issue of CW, and Steven Roach wrote in his article that he has moved from Dallas to NYC. I then noticed that his email address changed and it is no longer a Heritage address. Does anyone know if he has left Heritage and what his new job is? I believe he headed up Heritage's T&E practice, which seemed to be a good gig. Hopefully, he has found something even better, though.

I know that what he wrote about selling part of his library is correct. I bought a box full of catalogues.

    I wish him the best.

He was a smart guy and an asset to Heritage...hope they find someone equal to replace him.

  • Hi Longacre and All!

I left my position at Heritage at the end of 2007, traveled a bit, and earlier this month started at Christie's Auctions in New York City as a Specialist in its 19th Century European paintings department. I'll still be contributing to Coin World, although the extent that I'll remain active in coins remains to be seen.

I moved to New York City and so far am really enjoying it, both the city and the company.

FYI...Bidask wrote...."He was a smart guy..." Hopefully I still am a smart guy! At least I'm alive and kicking.

Hello Steve, glad to hear your alive and well...and at Christies too! Congratulations.

One day you will have to give us your perspective on 19th century european paintings versus rare coins as an investment.

I hope you keep contributing to Coin World. Your last article recently was good.image

As an attorney, I hope he put his best foot forward in solving Heritage's photography problems! image

Like anybody's going to believe that!
