German grading - leicht überarbeitet

Am I correct to interpret this as "slightly tooled"?

Many thanks,
Brent

    Hi Brent:

More literally, lightly worked-on, but it has the same meaning...

Thanks for the quick note John. Tooling has always been a weak area for me. As a learning point, any idea what would be the tell-tale signs that this piece was tooled?

    Hi Brent,

That is a great looking piece. Unfortunately, I am totally ignorant about these coins, but this is my general observation,
from the image. The obverse appears to have been harshly cleaned, compared to the reverse. I don't see any obvious tooling,
unless it is at the top of the curly thing-a-ma-jigger.

Perhaps one of the experts would like to add more...
