  • Should someone politely let him know his description details are incorrect? He chose SGC as the grader.

    That's technically misrepresentation, isnt it?

Here is the info I have so far- main seller of these frauds is josefina1747 out of Bath and/or Lansing Michigan , second seller rheart out of Mt. Moore, Michigan- 3rd seller DWill411 out of Flint, Michigan. I wonder if Josefina is selling these at fleamarkets/shows in Michigan? And the second and 3rd sellers, are victims? I emailed the second seller -no reply and now he has no listings. I just found the third seller. 3rd seller's name is real close to josefina's husband's name. I smell something very fishy coming out of Michigan.....................more to follow. Mike

  • Yeah, we've all heard of josefina1747 the scammer.

But if this guys is a victim, I kinda feel like trying to help him.

I agree. I sent him a non threatning email asking about SCG His name is real close to Josefina's hubby's name, but I didn't ask about that. image

    Dear dwill411,

Hello, I have never heard of this grading service. Any info? Thanks. Reply- Me Neither. I'm guessing this was a misprint by sgc. I'm not positive. I believe It's a legitimate grade because the card is in great condition. THANKS my reply- Hello thanks for the quick response. I believe this is a Homemade graded card as SGC is an authentic grading company but I think SCG is being made by someone in the Lansing area. Be careful as SCG has a BAD reputation on all of the collectors boards. For Example search SCG and you can see the difference between SGC and SCG. Confusing isn't it? For more details google josefina1747................ M His reply- Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to remove this listing. I'll probably relist this card as non graded. I'll definately look out for this in the future. MY OPINION........... Well, I believe this seller may have bought the Kaline as part of a group even though he never said where the card came from, he does not have a history of selling cards at all and it is a 1969 Kaline. I may even bid on it if he can get it out of that ugly slab..................Til next time, Metalmike out.

What does that even mean? There's no slab. >>

There is a slab it is just hard to see it with the card laying on the table.
