Price advice on a '77 Topps Cloth Sticker

I'm wondering what a decent price would be to pay for a '77 Topps Cloth Sticker Pete Rose PSA 9? If I'm not mistaken the SMR is $120? I see that a PSA 8 recently ended for $12.59


Advice from those knowledgable with this set would be appreciated. Thanks

Last 5 sales average 38.88.

Do sign up for VCP. It's well worth it if you do much buying/selling/trading.

Thanks DP. Not sure if the seller of the one I made an offer on is a member here. If so, I don't want to ruffle any feathers but.... I made an offer of $40 and it was declined. He's asking $80.

All I would tell you is that they are very easy to find, both graded and ungraded. I haven't looked up the population of the Rose in PSA 9, but I would guess that it is not a scarce card or very difficult ot find. In addition, there is lots of high quality raw and unopened still out there, so the population is only going to rise.

Don't overpay....

$40 is the MAX I'd pay for the Rose. As mentioned, the Rose cloth stickers is not that hard to find in a 9. Be patient, and you'll be rewarded.

I don't know if that seller is a board member or not, but IMHO he uses the SMR a little to much to price his stuff. But, it's his stuff, and he can price it as he chooses. A little like 707sportscards.
