    PRETTY BAD!!!!!!
  • VCP avg is $494.18.

I'd assume this one would be a bit less because of that top left corner.

    Just my $0.02

    WOULD YOU PAY $515?
  • Is it just the scan or are those edges VERY frosted? And there is some serious funk going on with the top left corner; it looks sharp but seems to be to small for the card? How well do you know the seller?

Agreed that top left corner is not good by any stretch but that card STILL has some seriously great eye appeal!
  • Probably.

Even with that corner, it's still hammerin' Hank's RC dude...

Although I suspect your resale value might be slightly less due to that corner. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

    Thanks.

I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE SELLER, I REALLY LIKE THE CARD.......
  • I dig it too man, if it's just for your PC, then do it up, but again, I presume your resalve value would be affected because of that upper left.

Seller is sandiegowill. Nearly 25000 ebay rating with 99.7% positive. I've had no issues with him and lost out on his 54 Kaline that just ended. But I'm still trying to figure out how a card with paper loss received a PSA 4. I thought paper loss was PSA 2 at best no matter what.

The Hank closed at $525, by the way.

I don't have the eyes that some of you do so I won't speculate that it's trimmed. What I can say is that if you run a straight line along the left side of the card, you'll see that corner is too small, however the actual point of the corner is very sharp.

And for real, am I the only one seeing frost on the edges?

To the OP, if you have a chance to see the card in person before you buy I would check that out.

Or maybe I'm just paranoid image
  • I dont think the card is trimmed.

And we're all in agreement on that top left, that's for sure.

That may be the best centering on an Aaron 4 that I have ever seen. If the card is ligit, that corner is droping it from an 8 to a 4 JMO

Obviously I cant tell for sure but that corner doesnt neccesarily have paper loss, it could be a print defect with the coloring.

Looked a lot like paper loss to me. (but wouldnt that automatically be a 1?)

And if it's not paper loss, why isnt this a 7-8 PD?

Sorry perk, I wasn't very clear in my post. Here's a link to the auction. The seller mentions the paper loss, and it is more clear on the back of the card.

It is still a sweet card, but now that frosted holder is driving me crazy (on both the front and back scans).

  • I personally would rather have that card with that corner than most 4's. It has great eye appeal, color, edges, centering.

Would definetely prefer it to this one for example, that is currently on the bay.

  • I agree it's still great for a 4. That corner just bugs me.

Gotcha image I still would love to own that card though!
  • Heck yes, so would I.

I thought paper loss was an automatic 1 though, I learned something!

That sells for $500 whether the flip says 1, 2, 3, or 4. It is a beautiful card.
