Seems like when someone doesn't know it's $20 and not 20$, plus tries to charge an illegal paypal surcharge, that should be a red flag....

Illegal? Illegal based on what? 20.00 does not equal 20$ not sure why the flame? you just want to come in running your mouth for fun or you busting balls for a reason?

What is wrong with adding the paypal fees ?

Sorry, I don't see anything wrong here. Plenty of people on the BST ask for 3% extra if paying by FeePal.

what's the problem with adding paypal fees on a private sale?

My goal was not to cause turmoil. I just wanted to sell 20.00 worth of silver as quick as possible. There is a coin I want to buy and I need to sell some of my 90% in order to get the coin and I am time limited. Thus, the need for paypal- With the fees added in you are still under melt and the going rate- The fact of the matter is shipping will equal paypal fees and thus I am selling the coins at 12.9 X face in net sale.

You know since I have joined I have spent most of my time in the BST room- I buy a lot and have sold a bit- Nothing excessive- There are times when I have been asked to pay paypal fees and NOT ONCE has legality been an issue. That is one of the more absurd things I have heard.

Oh well... have a good night...

Jason I for one think your sale is fine . Anytime you can buy silver with paypal fees and shipping and still be under meelt you have hit a homerun . I don't know why people can't see that .
