Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of late 80's commons without trashing them?

I am in the process of cleaning out my house. I have a bunch of misc commons, mostly 1987-1990 baseball stuff. I have plucked out the stars/semi stars. I really do not want to trash these, but I am not sure how to get rid of them. I was thinking of donating them or giving them to a local shop? What ideas do you guys have?
Thanks,
Ben

that's what i say, i've seen some walls done with that and it looks cool.
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
I'm running out of space , so what i did what pin up Black oak tag thick paper on the wall and put the binder pages over the oak tag ,
it looks kinda cool , a lot of my friends like it , I like it , my son loves it , my wife , well she could take it or leave it but she really don't complain about much we do with the hobby, she has an addiction buying autographed baseballs , so she is really filling up her own wall of stuff pretty rapidly .
he did not want to use the black background though, I think it looks better with the black behind it , but it is his room .

Ya know, that is a great idea!!! I would've much rather gotten a bunch of sports cards for halloween as a kid, then a super hard piece of bazooka bubble gum. Of course you'd probably have to have some candy or something for the girls. And that comment is not intended to be sexist or anything, I'm just assuming that most (if not all) little girls wouldn't want sports cards.
ebay i.d. clydecoolidge - Lots of vintage stars and HOFers, raw, condition fully disclosed.
I am absolutely clueless

Donation's the way to go. You can write them off your taxes too. This year it made the difference between owing and not owing.
Folks here have donated to childrens' hospitals, I've donated to my church's youth department, and schools might take them too.

edited to add: They can be deducted from your taxes if they are appraised and those cards are not worth it.

I don't know.
If you took a 1988 Donruss Kelly Downs card, folks would probably tell you it was worthless.
If you look in the Beckett, it says it's 5 cents.
If you put it up on Sportlots.com, for 8 - 15 cents, a set builder will come along and buy it eventually.
Both the Beckett and Sporlots says it's got some value.
To some collectors who are spending hundreds and thousands on high end cards, 5 cents looks like 0 cents, but it's not.
