Ebay Watch List-add without you clicking??

Can a seller add an item to your watchlist without you doing it? ie, can you view an item and therefore, have the seller add it to your watch list?? of course it's also 3am, so maybe it's just lack of sleep, but I swear this just happened to me.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

    There are probaly some codes that could do this. However if there are any in the listing it would be against Ebay rules.

    I think I might have clicked on a link in the auction, perhaps the seller did something on the link that added it to my watch list.
