I noticed your Franklins have FBL, even though it doesn't say so on the slab. NGC must be slipping.

Yeah, I agree. There's actually quite a few coins listed that I think were undergraded. There's several Roosevelt dimes with full torch bands that didn't get the FT on thr label. I cracked a couple of coins out from an NGC slab and sent them back in, and both of them came back in body bags this time. Go figure. I guess that's why they always say "Buy the coin, and not the slab". I've got more stuff on the way back as well, and it will probably be listed in a couple of days, so keep watch. Thanks.

You need to click on the "profile" button at the top right of this page, and when your profile window opens, scroll down the page to where you can select "allow private messages". Once you have done that, anytime a private message is sent, you'll see a prompt link at the top left of whatever page you're on while logged in. NGC is much more strict on that designation than PCGS, who seems to give it out like candy these days.

NGC went really rough on me with this last submission. There were quite a few coins that were under-graded or did not get the FBL or FT designation that they should have. I think there's a few of them that could have used a star as well. Oh well. You never know with these grading companies. Thank you for looking though.
