design IMHO.. the devices are incuse and have the remind me of an assayers mark.. throw in edge lettering and this is a neat-o chunk of silver!

for $22 (melty) I couldn't beat it and had to pick it up.

I have 6 of these somewhere - haven't seen them for awhile though. Picked them up in my best score ever on ebay - 310 coins (mostly silver) for $600. It is an unusual design, as you say it reminds one of assayer marks.
