Last 50 minutes of Bidding/Watching an Auction

Good evening,
I am the high bider on this auction # 140212426780

And as usual am trying to find something to do while I see how it plays out !!! I of course have a higher bid in place.!!!
Last time I did this on one of these threads I won a $700 dollar one and have a lot in from that auction in right now pending grading. Not sure if I really want to win this one, the pictures leave a lot to be desired, but the guarantee of money back with the High Feedback are a good sign.
Any thoughts???

By the looks of his past auctions it appears he is an estate auction buyer. I think he seems to be honest as far as his description goes. I don't think I would have a problem bidding on his item(s)

    Gomer looks dashing!

Nice vibrant cards, and with his rant on grading..." No, they have not been graded, because that is a lot of expense for something that can be done by anyone with enough experience in antiques and collectibles to know how to grade things", they may be worth a shot.

  • I like the slight curl to them. It makes them look crisp.

Then again, I have been wrong.....
  • Thanks guy

Cool cards - I'm not familiar with this particular year, but I see these types of 50's cards on ebay all the time and they never really sell for a lot of money. But good luck.
  • Actually, its a great looking bunch of Who-Zats.

One of my favorite cards of all time has to be the Leo Gorcey

Bottom line the seller is correct in the implication that it wouldn't really be worth getting these cards graded...the fees being worth more than the cards. If it would have been worth it, then he would have done it.
  • I agree and bottom line, if I get cards in hand, and they won't grade out as sold, will return.

Like to see the scans. Frankly, I always thoiught these types of cards were undervalued compared to the high value of baseball cards.
