FINALLY! I am #1 All Time on the All-Time Vikings Set!

My hometown team. Took me more than 3 years to do it, and I have 3 cards that I can realistically upgrade still. I was tied for #1 current finest with MOSH, but with the addition of my "White Whale" I have finally moved into the #1 All Time Finest spot.

A few cards were raw submissions of my own, many were eBay purchases and a couple were local pickups. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for my season tickets when I just spent the last of my money (which I didn't have) on my PSA 8 Tarkenton rc... Hmm...

If anyone has any other upgrades for this set, I'm listening! image

...oh and John (MOSH), if you are reading this, there is no need to try and pass me. #2 is a perfectly honorable place to be. Feel free to stay there, at least until after the registry awards. image I'd like to win one, just once in my life. lol

    BTW, do they even have a Seahawks set? What's that? No? No they don't? Huh...that's wierd. I wonder why that is. Oh yeah, cuz it would be one card. Curt Warner. MVP of the 1999 Super Bowl. Heckuva qb. What's that? Not the same guy? Oh, well no wonder there isn't a set, it would be empty. image

    Speaking of upgrades Josh, there's another Zimmerman 10 up on the Bay. And two of the big dogs have already been fed, so to speak, so you may get lucky : )

    ur set is truely awesome. I know the feeling....just took down mosh fo the all time raiders recently.

    Joe gave your sister vd......well he gave my st. bernard genital herpes.........Remember you don't have to be experiencing an outbreak to pass it on.

    now go out there and get that zimmerman.....wait I need one also....lol

    I just spent all my money buying that PSA 7 Ditka, PSA 6 Battles and PSA 8 Tarkenton. I don't have any more money... Do you think 4SC will give me a loyal buyer discount? image

    Tell ya what Jay, you buy the Zimmerman and trade it to me for my 9 and a and a copy of my memoirs. Now included is the 3 page addendum on "How to keep Joe away from your sister and VD out of your blood-line". That alone is a $20 value.

    Just a question, how come no love for Gary Larsen the 4th member of the purple people eaters?

    It a 1975 card I think.

    Yeah, Larsen isn't in the set and I think Fred Cox is borderline too. He's still the all time leading scorer in franchise history. Larsen has always sort of been the odd man out. When you've got Eller, Page and Marshall who all have much bigger names, it's tough. Nice guy too, he signs locally once in a while.
