Topps Chrome 2007 Football

I'm not a collector of football cards anymore but I just brought two for the hell of it. I must say these cards are amazing! I think I have three special cards:

1: Edgerrin James TC10 (the front is like a prism like look)
2: Yamon Figurs TC219 (it has blue boarders)
3: Brett Favre BFC-BF 188 (silver all around bretts picture)

Are they worth anything?
How much does the box cost or pack?
Want to know bc I paid 2.99/each pack and I see on ebay, people are selling it for like $10-$19 each pack.
Do they cost that much??

    Check the back of the Edgerrin for numbering. I have a bunch of these, the blue refractors are retail only and very nice. If you have some
    favorite players I could sell you some. Cheaper than packs.

    there is no numbering on the back of Edgerrin. I only see the word "refractor" on the bottom of the number TC219

    So the cards I got isnt that speical after all.

    so the box isnt really worth getting? Whats the highest price on one of the cards in the box (if found?)

    oh don't get me wrong, there are plenty of great cards....I would go with hobby.

    Peterson base rookie...40 bucks
    Peterson Xfractor 100 bucks
    Peterson Blue 80 bucks
    Peterson auto 400
    calvin auto 200 bucks....etc.

    Probably get a box for under 80 bucks, again go with hobby only

    Actually on the Chrome Retail is the way to go. You probaly will not get a Peterson autor, but you have the blue refractors and there is a refractor or X-Fractor in every pack of retail unlike Hobby. The odds on everything else are just about the same.

    Those are cool cards for sure. I just picked up a blaster of the '07-08 Topps chrome basketball. I've never purchased the "chrome" cards, and I was impressed. I got a Yi rookie card (I'm a bucks fan, although not so much this year), image and a couple sweet refractors. I really liked the "throwback" cards too (not sure if the football has these).

    You can find info on eBay about the recent market value of cards.

    3 David Harris White Refractors have sold on eBay since Feb. 25th.

    Feb. 25th ($1.84)

    Mar. 2nd ($2.24)

    Mar. 8th (99 cents)

    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    Could it be true that card # 111 {Michael Vick } is listing for $450.00, or is that a printing error ?

    It is very true the Vick is selling for that. It was pulled right after release. My understanding was it can only be found in Wal-Mart Blasters. Topps said less than 50 got out, but a couple of months ago there was a seller selling 10 of them, so who knows.

    Whats a Topps Chrome HOT PACK? Is it that every pack has an autograph card? And how much is each pack selling for? Just want to make sure.


    So only the ones in walmart would have the mike vick's card???

    A hot pack is a pack that has been searched already it will contain an autograph and since they can be searched without opening you could get a good card, but there are ways they can be opened and resealed.

    It is the Wal-Mart blaster boxes that are suppoused to get the Vick card. Those are the 10 pack boxes that sell for 19.99. I have opened about 10 of these and have not pulled a Vick though.

    I had to have opened about 30 blaster boxes from Walmart , I am going to have to go through them and check , but I really doubt it , not when someone has unbelievably pulled 10 of them !

    I love the Topps Chrome FB and baseball, i went crazy on both of them

    I didn't even know about the Vick card until about a week ago and I was like , could that be right ?

    That guy had to have some inside info or something , or his buddy works for Topps , something there just don't jive .
