My experience with GEM grading service

OK, I mentioned last week that I was submitting a bogus Jordan rookie for kicks. I got my card back today. GEM has a faster turn around time than PSA and they correctly identified the card as counterfeit. They then beat PSA by not charging me! PSA charges you no matter what. I think they are a legitimate service but they just aren't as big as PSA or Beckett. Maybe they don't grade as strict as other companies but there is probably a market for grading less strictly.

    At least the off brands don't grade counterfeits and can identify them; but that doesn't account for them holdering badly trimmed cards.
