When you join PCGS and receive the 8 free coin grading submissions, what is the stipulated turnaround time?

It's usually pretty quick. That said, mine usually are about 10days minus the shipping time back to me............Rick

mine show a date of 2/15 and still waiting.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

on the website it states 'turnaround time is 15 days for the $30.00 service'

Since, I would assume, the free service is the same as the '$30.00 service', would the 15 day time period also apply to the free service, or would it take longer?

That used to be a set in stone or you get free grading turn around time. It isn't any longer. It's just a general idea of how long it will take. Plus you have to subtract weekends, holidays and show days.

You should never assume. I believe they do them as quickly as possible, yet time frame varies depending on many factors. I have "normally" found them to be fairly quick on club submissions.

edited to add: I took the "Cleaning-BB'd" 1856 Seated Half to the Baltimore show and showed it to Julian.

He said that id did NOT appear to have been cleaned.

But did mention, hey the coin is over 150 years old, some where along the line someone probably gave it a quick wipe.

Thanks again Julian for all you do for us regular collectors!!!! image

I'm assuming that's from the date logged into the system.

Listed on the site on 2-12 for mine although dropped off in Phoenix 2-7 at the show. Nothing yet but 21 days would be next Monday. Seems like it is stretching out a bit. image

From my past experience I have to first ask you. How old are you? Do you have any heirs? If neither you or they survive, is there someone else that can sign for it?
