The title says it all - this is the kickoff of the 65 topps collectors club. We will be significantly different from our 1972 counterparts. Instead of a website - we will be offering cash signing bonuses for new members anywhere from $5,000 and up. We are also planning 1965 strategic planning meeting at all major conventions in hotel penthouses with free food and drink. If you put up good stats as a 65 collector there will always be the possibility of a long term contract (with a no trade clause). BTW - free 1965 Mickey Mantle Psa 9's to the first 5 members!

Proud to be a 65 collector
PS - Vargha, can I talk to you about a small loan?

Since it looks like I am the 1st to join, advise when you will be shipping the '65 Mantle PSA-9
Seriously I have been debating to start that set, its one of my favorites...jay

It's not the size of the set that counts - it's how you use them.

I might just start collecting 65's for that perk.
besides all the 1972 guys offered was a two-for-one coupon at McDonalds............
Count me in as well... Let me know how I can help in getting it started.

CU turns its lonely eyes to you
What's the you say, Mrs Robinson
Vargha bucks have left and gone away?
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
We're even starting a clubhouse for the clubs, and the furniture will be made entirely out of unopened boxes from the sets.

As founder of the club I'm only waiting on my Vargha loan to start the $5000 bonuses.

1972 Topps PSA 8 common
Value: $12 to $20
Use: look at it, fill in hole in graded set
How to sell: use eBay, advertise as 1972 Topps PSA 8 [player name and card number]
Best outcome: no more PSA 8s of this card are ever graded, and it becomes a leading population rarity
Chance of that: Slim and none
1992 Score baseball wax case
Value: $25 to $40
Use: can serve as emergency end table (can be paired with another to form coffee table), open boxes to form about 20 sets of the particular series, hide your good cards behind it to throw off burglars, break it down to use boxes as emergency gifts for children, make really large house of cards
How to sell: use eBay, advertise as 250 card lots from estate sale; donate to charity and claim value of Tuff Stuff high box price x20
Best outcome: you open it and find several of the scarce HOF autographs
Chance of that: Slim and none
