I would really like a chance to purchase the Ron Santo box for my master set. If there is any chance at you parting with that one as an individual, I would glad to make you an offer on it. PM or email me when you decide. Thanks, Nathan

    Wondo,

I am sending in an ungraded set to PSA and any card you have that is higher than mine I would buy.

Cards are starting to move - Many cards are 1 of 1 highest graded.

    John,

Does not look too good. Apparently Mr. Mint and PSA disagree on my cards. They are all over the map.

Looks like I could be buying a few cards from you.

    Jim,

Sorry to hear that - the boxes are tough. I have submitted the equivalent of 4+ sets and spent a bunch on higher graded boxes. Actually, we are lucky that they are not more popular. Let me know.

    Jim,

What kind of grades did you get on the boxes?

    John,

A few 8s including Clemente and Mays, a 9 or two, several 7s but also a bunch of 5s and 6s. Puzzling how they grade these?

    Jim,

It's good you got two biggies out of the way. They are really tough on these guys - I think it is the spider creases that originate at the fold lines that gets most of them. Other factors that knock'em down is the card centering and indentationson the tickglossy stock. Tilt some 5s and you might see these type of marks. I could never get a decent Walker or Oliva.

Munson and Santo have fled the coop this past week - anyone else for player / team specialties?
