Looking for a couple of photos for my 67 Stand Up project

Hi all. I'm trying to locate a good Joe Morgan photo circa 1967 when he was with the Houston Astros. Something similiar to this:
Joe Morgan 1967ish

I'm trying to find a good portrait/head shot. Preferably an 8x10 and unsigned.

I'm also trying to figure out where I can get this photo without the signature (I found this one on the 'bay):

I'm all googled out trying to locate these. Hoping maybe someone has seen one at a show recently or might even have one themselves.

  • Can you post more photos/info about the set. I collect some of the Topps Test issues and would be fascinated to learn more about it.

  • The only info I know about this set is what I read from oldbaseball.com and listening to what Bob, Bishop, Sflayank, and Griffins I believe. Very hard to find and quite expensive. They came in both a proof version, and it seems that you can find examples that were cut by individuals from a sheet vs. Topps cutting them. There were designed to be die-cut, but I'm not sure if you could find those in sheets or not. I can't remember if there were actual packs distributed at all or not, seems like there must have been because I think Bob showed me an image of a box for them.

For my own amusement, I decided to make up cards for the players that weren't originally included in the set. That's why I'm trying to find a good image of Joe Morgan and Brooks Robinson, so I can work on those.

There are 24 of them . Blank backed, numbered on the front. As Kevin says, they can be found in thick die cut form, or thin unperforated proof form. Most would probably associate a premium with the die cut versions. I do not think they were ever officially circulated. I still need 6 to finish the set, fortunately not the Mantle. Bob has a beautiful set, as does Larry.

Kevin...if you ever have any of your creations available for sale, let me know. They have all looked great.
