Does Hank Aaron still do autograph/card shows?

I am trying to purchase a 54 Aaron rookie card on ebay to have signed by Hank Aaron for my collection. Does he still do any autograph shows? If so, what is his usual price to sign a flat item via Mail order? Does anyone know when the next show comes up that he will be at?

Thanks,

Mike

Sounds like Braves games are your best bet. Doesn't sound like he does the autograph circuit at all. Not sure about TTM.

Uh oh, if he doesn't do shows I might hold off buying the card. I live a long way from the Braves games. What about, does anyone know if he has a charitable foundation or anything like Nolan Ryan that he signs for a donation??

  • Hey there -
Hank does not make many public appearances at card shows. While he can still be found in the public from time to time - he has stepped back a bit from those types of appearances. He does show up at events in and around the city, and has spoken at a few events - but you will probably have a difficult time getting in touch with him. There are a several examples of his rookie card that have been autographed. If you are patient, you will be able to buy one already autographed. As usual - be careful with the purchase of such an item.

Actually he has been doing one through Steiner at Last Licks for the past few years (usually in the Fall).

I believe my Meiselan list says that he signs cards for 100.00 TTM.

I'm not home right now so I can't confirm this....

For what it's worth, in the past (pre-1990s) any TTMs I've seen or received from Aaron were always secretarial signatures.

    He doesn't sign TTM anymore.

Thanks for the help above. I called Steiner sports and they said they will probably be doing 1 or 2 signing with Hank later this year. I don't mind waiting until then, but at least now I know I'll have an avenue to get it signed. Take care,
