forever stamps

I was talking to my postmaster to see if I should buy a big supply of forever stamps
to save on the new increase

and she told me they will be available forever - they have millions made

so they do not need all those 1cent/2cent/3cent stuff for people

as well as have a good supply for new denomination

I was impressed - someone at post office is really thinking

Not sure if someone at the USPS was really thinking, but rather following what other countries have already done. It was wise to wait and see the outcome of the impact it had on countries who introduced forever stamps though.
  • Well if you spend $410 on 1000 stamps before May you would save $10.

Discount postage would most likely save y4o4u more.

Anybody see the Sheet Collection Lot in the last Shreeves, pre Spinks?

Face value was $54K and it sound for $24K area. Talk about discount postage
    for a few 100 years.

I am still trying to figure out what to do with two big boxes of stamps my grandmother left me.

Apparently they are all still legal and in my mind forever.
