Anyone care to predict who will and who will not make the NBA Western Conference playoff spots?

The race for the 8 playoff spots just keeps getting more intense. 9 and maybe even 10 teams could conceivably have 50 wins.

The seeding of #1- through #8 will not mean much IMO since the conference has so many evenly matched teams that are playing very, very well.

    Sure, here's how I expect it to shake out:


    1. Spurs
    2. Lake Show
    3. Utar
    4. Dallas
    5. Phoenix
    6. New Orleans
    7. Golden State
    8. Houston

    Spurs over Houston
    Lake Show over GS
    Utar over New Orleans
    Dallas over Phoenix

    Spurs over Dallas
    Lake Show over Utar

    Lake Show over Spurs. Barely.

    i too see denver not making it out of GS, houston and Portland (who is too far behind now anyway) for the 7 and 8 spots. There are still 20+ games left, so the yao ming loss, despite the current 15 game winning streak, might affect the rockets down the stretch.

    If GS gets PHX or Dallas, they have a chance. otherwise, i dont see a repeat of last year.
