Anyone familiar with David Wright's autogrpah?

I am looking to buy a ball signed by him from Ebay and thought I heard a lot about his autograph being heavily faked? Anyone know enough to tell me if this auction is legit?

  • It is close but something about it I don't like. The end of his last name looks off as does the angles in the number 5.

I don't collect current players 'cause I'm an old(er) fart, but I thought I read somewhere that Wright's agent was pretty pro-active about pointing out Wright fakes. Maybe you can get contact through David Wright Foundation

Thanks for the help. I am looking at the card pictured above and the ball in question and other than the 5 being different it could be the same at least I think.

I don't like it. The differences in sharp and rounded angles between the exemplar and this one give me pause.
