Did anyone love the Laker game today?

Amazing game.

Kobe and Dirk at the end, those guys put in the daggers.

Is anyone else stunned (or pleasantly suprised) at what the Lakers supporting staff has been able to do? Walton, Vujacic, Farmar.

Fish is actually averaging more points a game this season compared to the Laker championship days of Shaq Kobe. Gasol is shooting the lights out as a Laker, 60% FG Pct. Vujacic, 43% shooting 3's, man.

They've got 22 games left, at least 11 easy ones, lots of games at home, looking good.

hmmm, the Lakers played, I hate the Lakers (past, present, and future). So no, I didn't love the Laker game.

While I also hate the Lakers (and especially Kobe), I have to agree that it was one of the best basketball games I have seen in a long, long time

I worked in So. Cal. from 81-86 and saw lots of Laker games during the Kareem-Magic Showtime Era. Those were some fun basketball games to watch.

Even though I do not like Kobe, there is no doubt he is one of the best players in the game today. Luckily for him, his supporting cast is playing very well. It would not surprise me to see the Lakers, this year or next, play for the NBA title. If they win one more and Jackson continues to coach, he will have to consider putting any additional rings on his toes, since he will be out of available fingers.

It is still hard to believe that Kobe is not yet 30 and that he has been playing in the league since 1995.
