Fiesta coins??

Anyone here on the darkside recall Mcdonald's giving out Fiesta coins sometime in the 80's? My gradfather owned several Mccyd's before he passed away and I recall the coins and the folder for them and at one time I had a set but who knows what happened to them . If anyone recalls these and maybe has the set with folder for sale please let me know.

I don't remember them either, but a little google clued me in a bit more. I wonder what types of coins were actually in them.

In 1988, McDonald's sought to recapture some lost sales margins in what was obviously the best way for a fast food chain to do so: By giving away free foreign coins! The "Fiesta Coin" packets each contained a legitimate foreign coin, given out either in Happy Meals or whenever someone bought some ill-conceived test-market burger with the word "Fiesta" in the title.

I wonder what kinds they gave out?
