Just wanted to share pics of this beauty...probably grades in the vf range, but I really like it! Opinions?

since it was pointed out that this was a 9 / 7 overdate, wanted to add these extra closeups

    Nice 29/7 overdate CBH.

I would say around VF-30 is in the ballpark. Nice coin image

    I agree, VF-30 or close.

Very nice! I prefer these with the dark color like yours.

Very nice, you did better than me, my first, when it arrived, looked wizzed, was pretty much confirmed on here. I took the advice and made it a pocket piece. It now will Hopefully be found before I move, as it fell out of my pocket and hasn't been seen since, but is somewhere in the house!

I do like yours, just felt like sharing my first bust half experience image
imageQuid pro quo. Yes or no?

Yes, I was wondering if it was just my imagination about the overdate, looked a little strange under the loupe. Glad you could confirm

it with these pics....appreciate the appraisals too! Should I send it in for slabbing? or just leave it in the raw state?

I would keep it raw. There's no reason to slab unless you were thinking of starting a registry set.

Welcome to CBH collecting! Keep it raw...no reason to have it graded. Why spend the money? Instead, use the money to buy a book on CBH like Bust Half Fever.
