1838 was a great year. Not only was it the last year for the classic head design but it was the first year for any Dahlonega or Charlotte Mint products. In addition the first of two years where the mint mark was on the obverse.
I love the look and the toning of this morgan. Call be crazy but I like it more then rainbow toned MS specimens. I'm a sucker for this type of toning though. Can't get enough.
