I have a few of these. Some dating to the aerly teens and every decade into the 50's. Do they have any collectible value to them?

commonly called a "lamenation error"

however this is a mis-nomer....cent stock was never laminated in the first place.

this a result of bad mixing of metal with contaminations in it.

causing a flakey crust...and...this in no way will have a bad effect on the cherry filling or the white icing.

....no extra value.

Maybe no extra value but it sure looks interesting and it is a coin you can talk to when showing off an album.

That is one of those special coins where Lincoln was wearing one of those PUFFY SHIRTS from the Sinefeld programs. If you say that episode you'ld recognize that shirt right away. When Lincoln saw that program on TV and saw that shirt he said to himself, HEY ABE, there is the shirt for me when I am on a coin.
