Do you know if it was from P/D thanks in advance I bought a box of P last year and was going to open it if it was P thanks in advance.

    1982 P Small date zinc. Only 1 coin known. It has doubling on E. P. U. very wide spread. I can't remember where I saw it but it's on my Lincoln cent check list.

    There's a nice little article with pictures on the CONECA homepage, according to the article a second specimen was found grading AU. Both are paired with the small date obverse and struck on zinc planchets. With all the hype surrounding the 1983 DDR, it's a wonder this coin went undiscovered for so long.

    I believe there are now two known.

    Pretty pricey if you want to try and buy one!
