Coin pix, pic programs and Vista

I just got a new computer that runs (ugh) Vista. So far, I find Vista sux big time.
Is there any good pic programs for Vista, or other useful suggestions? Thanks.

I just bought Photoshop Elements 6 at Christmas, and just checked the box, it says it will run on Vista also.

I've had Vista for over 6 months, no problems at all. Like it way better than XP.

I tried Vista for a few months and went back to XP. Just too many incompatibility with my network apps.

Photoshop Elements 6.0 is a very powerful and inexpensive alternative to the full blown photoshop. I also like Corel's Paint Shop Pro. Formerly from Jasc.

Actually, I have both O/S available and I much prefer the XP.

Vista is one huge headache & will be till they come out with a S/Pk.

Good Luck with your problem. I do all my pictures on the XP.

IMO vista sucks. All my software works, but my scanner and microscope are incompatible. Plus it crashes 10x more often than XP.
