Is a 1926 Un Sol from Peru silver?

If so what is it's silver value?
It says 5 decimos fino on the coin.

The 1926 Peru 1 Sol is 50% fine silver ("5 decimos" = 5/10s). The asw is 0.4019 ounce. (Prior to 1922 these pieces ran at 90% pure.)

Yours is probably worth the silver value, like mine is. The bullion price on these has raced far ahead of the catalog value.

$18 spot (last time I checked) x .4019 oz. = $7.23
