Do you think there will soon be a big influx of fake coins?

With China sponsoring the Olympics, thousands of American tourists will be visiting China and sightseeing will be part of the venue. I get the feeling many of these tourists will be bringing back US silver dollars among other coins and virtually all will be fake. Are my concerns unfounded? This can't be good for the hobby.

What if they come back with fake coins in fake top TPG holders and start entering those into registry sets?
I include doctored coins with the fakes.
I'm not talking about the experts, who can still apparently still determine fakes from small details, but this is a major concern for collectors like myself.
As we've seen on this board, fake certifications are also a major concern.
Hopefully those who go are a little smarter than eBay shoppers.

<< <i>Remember if the coin is in a slab it is more difficult to tell if the coin is fake by weight. >>
Very good reminder!

I would not expect that to be the case, the ability to pay for an expensive trip and numismatic intelligence would not seem
to be related in any way.
