If this continues....I'll be broke when Im done with my set.

Its getting hard to finish this set when I am up against this. I wanted all centered PSA 6s, but for this price, I'll pass. SMR for this card is $40.00

Well, it's being sold by DSL,
so there's no way it could get a bump because they've probably already sent it back 2 or 3 times. image

Who cares the grade? Great looking card! Nice to see folks basing their bids on eye appeal. My kind of 6 ... image

Rube, This set isnt too much bigger than yours. At 206 cards its pretty easy to stay focused.
Ted, This card is just as bad $$ wise as the Freese. The Lollar does have a weight of 8.

    edited for calling Ted...Matt.
  • sold my freese in 6 for over 100, just let one go in my set, should have replaced it with a raw one image

edited: I did not even see that you called me Matt

It appears to be a high-end PSA 6 very well centered, nice eye appeal, very possible bump. I thought about it but I've used up my card budget for this month. A couple last minute snipes drove the price up. I wonder how high the winner had his bid set. There will be another come along sooner or later.

  • its a bit crazy, if im paying that kind of money I wanna look at the card and not think its off centered lol. first glance thats what i though, im sure its well within the guidelines, just my first impression.
  • I bought an 8 o/c for 25 bucks, not as well centered as the 6 but gimme a break!

40.00 is for run of the mill 6's, that card, while it has no chance (IMO) for a bump to 7 could possibly
bump up to 6.5. It is what I call a true EX/MNT card. Maybe it was graded b4 the .5 system came into place?

( I did not check the cert)

In any event you pay for quality. That is a high numbered card that is also IMO one of the tuffer cards to
find in conditions like the one we see here.

Is 159.00 a lil too much? hmmmmm perhaps. I would have paid 2-3x SMR for that card. (closer to 2x)

Remember fellows not all 6's are created equal.

Edit: It appears that 4 bidders agree with me too.

    Good for you.
