That's pretty neat. I get excited when I see die cracks, and they're common. That lamination would be a cool find!

Here is a milder lamination on a 1900-O I found last week in some "junk" Morgans I bought....Is there any premium over spot on it considering the graffiti on the face?

Having the flake missing from the coin would make it more valuable than it being intact. At least that's what my past sales have indicated on lamination problems.

NO! Don't be a twit...leave it alone!

I'll reveal the mystery...you'll find a rough metal surface...and perhaps some dirt...oh, then again, there what that one spectacular find underneath the lamination flap of a chain cent I once saw...directions to Jimmy Hoffa's body.

I was kidding about peeling it back. I think some of you knew that.

It was in the junk bucket for $15 along with a few VAMs. The shop owner is funny and nice. He let's me bring them home to check out under my scope and says he'll take them back if I change my mind.
