I think these are kind of common. $20-30 seems about right.

edited: guess I have no clue. image
  • So does cameo make this coin worth more or not?
    Thanks,
    Joseph

The Cameo adds a premium. You can't apply the same pricing for a 67 CAM and a 67. In response to your question, I think about $250 is about right.

$25 seems WAY too cheap. 1959 is a hard year to find Cameos. I would have guessed over $150. Cameo franklins bring more $$$ in PCGS plastic.

Then you should be buying them from Heritage for $25 each. That's what the last few have been around (in NGC holders)
    Specifically, $25, $19 & $35

UtahCoin, I think you're missing the fact that this is a Cameo coin, and the coin you linked is not a Cameo coin. 1959 is one of the hardest years to find Cameo Franklins. There is a big difference between CAM and non-CAM coins in this period for some coins, this being one of them.

Well try this: pick any coin, bring the coin to any coin dealer in the country and ask them to pay the PCGS price. Let me know how many dealers you ask before you get tired of rejection.

Somewhere around $300. In 1997, when Rick Tomaska wrote his first Franklin book, no "Cameo"s were certified in any grade by NGC, and there were only 4 UCAMs.
