Building new site. What would you like to see as potential buyer/Seller

I am currently developing a new website that will be free for sellers to list cards for sale and will only charge (probably 10%) when and if the item sells. I am tired of all the ebay fees and constant changes and think i can do it better. I have a few things that will be a little tougher on the sellers. But in the end will be great for buyers.
It will be a "store" " fixed priced" format
1. Actual pictures of the card being sold will be required.
2. will be required that sellers use a pull down selection give a description of both corner condition, LR centering, and Top/Bottom centering and any other pertinant info about the card. (on raw cards)
3. Mandatory 7 day like it or return it policy for all items sold.
I think that a solid group of reputable dealers/sellers can be put together that would love to have their inventory out there free of charge unless their item sells.
I also feel that some sort of a ratings system needs to be implemented?? Or with the mandatory like it or return policy....would it be as simple as handling buyer complaints of a dealer is not following the policy??
I am very open for more ideas from you all. I respect your opinions and want to make this new site something that can be an asset to all card buyers and sellers. I am early in development and would like input whether it be positive or negative. IF you can think of other features that would enhance the buying or selling process please post here or instant message me.
Thanks,
Zach

When I first read your message, I thought it said "postcards;" but,
it said, "post cards."
Trading-card sellers are not feeling terribly put-upon by EBAY, right now.
Sellers of postcards are DESPERATE for a new venue.
A 10% FVF is fine, if the listings are "free."
The site needs to be EASY to list on. Like EBAY is.
If I was doing it, I would ONLY allow three forms of payment:
1. google-CHECKOUT
2. PayPal
3. Credit-Card
That might help on the buyer-confidence front.
Let us know how you're doing with the project.
had a nice deal. They could list thousands in their stores and let
them sit. Postcards take longer to move than trading cards, because
there are so many themes and you have to wait longer for the
right buyer to come along. With the change in store fees, MANY
PC peddlers quit or cut WAY back.
Now, with the NEW fee-scheme, it will be even more expensive to
do postcards on EBAY.
Your plan would solve the fee-problem, BUT I do not know if you
could attract enough traffic to make it worth your effort.
Some postcards are VERY expensive, most are cheap. There is
a postcard thread here that will give you an idea of what kind
of sports postcards folks like. Just do a search for "postcard,"
and look at the thread with a few-hundred posts/scans.
