1879 3CN - Sad State of Affairs!
I recently got my spot reviewed 1879 3CN from PCGS. It was downgraded from a 67CAM to the 64CAM shown below. You can tell where the PVC had rested just off Liberty's neck. What a beautiful coin this is aside from that mark. It looks like someone dropped milk on it. Anyways, PCGS was great throughout this process and I opted for a cash payment and a downgraded coin because this was my first experience with a spot review. I think I will have to part with her soon, though, because that mark is so distracting.

My guess is that if PCGS could not make it any better, NCS would not be able to either.
Do you (OP) have a photo of the coin prior to the spot being removed?
