Home PSA Set Registry Forum

Just hit my goal of 9.50 GPA

I have been building the 1981 Basketball set for almost 3 years.

Currently #2 AllTime

This set is very difficult to build in high grade due to Centering issues, Chipping.

For those who don't know this set consists of 4 sets in 1, Main set 1-66, East set E67-110, West 67-110, Midwest 67-110

Current Break down is: PSA 10- 101 PSA-9 96 PSA 8-1, this set is loaded with low pop 9-10's

Silly question but has anyone tried grading the cards broken apart and completing the set that way? That would be interesting to see if PSA would grade em.

Interesting, thanks! I always like oddball issues and that one is about as odd as they came.

Great job. I've admired that set from afar. I wish the 80-81 wasn't an abomination...
    Enjoy your collection!
