My stuff's all on coinzip.com, now. More to come later. I strongly entreat you to try it yourself- it is free for both buyers AND sellers. As an incentive for folks to sign up, I am waiving my shipping fees for any new coinzip members. Help me give a new auction site some action. It was launched by a forum member as an eBay alternative, and since everyone seems to be disgusted with the 800-pound gorilla these days, why not give a boost to the new little guys?

A few offerings. Prices include Insured shipping within the USA. PayPal accepted. Thanks for looking. -Preussen

Victoria 1887 Jubilee Crown PCGS MS-64. One of the most difficult coins to photograph that I've ever encountered (these are not my pics). Somewhat darkly toned but with some pretty golden-brown on the obverse and slightly more colorful hues on the reverse. Very lustrous and correctly graded
    Reduced image $275.
    image

Sweden 2Kr 1932, 300th Anniversary - Death of Gustaf II Adolphus, NGC MS-64 (couple of obverse spots) Reduced image $30
    image

Baden 1871 Kreuzer commemorating victory over France; Extremely scarce "Offenburg" piece. NGC MS-64 BN (small spot & tiny scratch between the R&I in KRIEG are noted for accuracy) Very attractive & lustrous; Seldom offered. $175
    image

Edited to add: Here is another that I almost didn't list because my pic is so poor...maybe I'll learn someday image . Bremen 1871 Victory (over France) Thaler. NGC MS-64. Certainly much nicer than my terrible pics indicate. It's lustrous, but it lacks the booming luster often seen on these pieces; it has the look of having been dipped. Still, quite attractive. Reduced image $100

I'm willing to bet that that coin looks awesome in hand. It's probably just such a pain to photograph that you can't get the color, luster and details in there all at once. (And even if I'm wrong...crusty coins are just plain cool! image)

These have close to, if not full lustre...I do not believe that they were circulated and any marks are probably from storage. Both look a lot better in hand than my photos would indicate:

Please check these pages and PM me if interested. "Best offers" considered. US insured postage paid for any purchases $100 and over.

Yes I read that huge thread on the lightside and I actually commented on that thread that such things never happened on Darkside.

I guess it had to happen some day.

I have to side with Coinpicture on this one.

If you have any questions or comments, you should have taken it to Private channels.

There was no reason to "Inform" the public about some gross negligence, since he didn't miss represent it, or overhype the coin.

What you did was give your opinion (Poorly at that) about his coin on a public BST.

I added some more stuff to CoinZip.com, and will likely continue to do so when I get time. I am actually getting bids and selling a little bit there now, but I know it is all thanks to the Darksiders here. I figure I'll just use that for my BST/Weekly Swap stuff. Why? Because it'll let me use an auction format, for one thing.

I'd love to, Terry, but I'm freakin' broke, and anyways, you skipped 1901.

(I already have a decent UNC 1901 anyway).

I'm really, really diggin' BS' 1901 florin but have my doubts I'll be able to tempt him with any sort of trade.

Gonna be a lean couple of months for me, it looks like. image

FSH: 2008 Silver Britannia in AirTite $26 shipped - SOLD

I've got one final 2008 britannia to offer - this one had some sort of haze on it which I tried to dip off with little success. The coin looks pretty decent under normal light, but under a strong sidelight, the haze is obvious. The coin's not ugly at all, but I'm not interested in keeping it for my collection. The coin would otherwise be pretty nice - maybe a MS66 - (though I don't think with the haze it's worth submitting). Maybe someone else can conserve it better than my attempt.

If someone's interested in a decent - though not gem - example of the 2008 in an AirTite for their collection, I'm offering it for $26 shipped - significantly below the cost of the coin which is $30+$6 shipping from the royal mint. Not at all a bad deal with silver around $19. I'll take paypal.

First PM gets it. - SOLD
