Any Ideas on this token?

I am sure that this is a gambling token. I know the reverse is of the US $10, but I can not find the Argentinian coin that this goes to the obverse. It is copper. Any help? -Dan

Very interesting piece, and I agree- almost certainly a gaming counter, and almost certainly of 19th century origin, too.

PS- it is interesting to see a muling of two different countries' designs like that. That's one I have not seen before.

I suspect it was originally gilt over that copper or brass. Had a thin layer of gold plating that came off over time. Or so I'd guess.
