I have paid over 600,000 times face value for a coin. But that would easily be exceeded by certain half cents and large cents. For example, the Husak starred reverse and Liberty cap cents went for over 60,000,000 times face value !!!!!!

A 1913 Lib nickel at $5 million would be 100,000,000x face value !!!

UHR, actually now that I think of it, there have been some even higher multiples ... When I collected proof two cents, I paid 3,000,000x face for a Small Motto proof example !!!
