Circulated 1877 IHC proof

i'm thinking there was a thread on here recently about the lowest Sheldon scale grade proof and while there were some posters who chimed in with knowledge of PF03's and the like, anything below the (MS equivalent) grade of Fine seems to be tough to come by
well, i noticed on NEN's site that they are now advertising an 1877 IHC in ANACS PF8!! its actually a very nice looking coin......i'm wondering if Mr. Snow can contribute here with what the diagnostics are for the proof when its encountered in this low of a grade (my guess is the strong N in ONE on the reverse; but is there also an obverse diagnostic? squared off denticles? level 77 in date?)

thanks

Yes, it looks like a circulated proof. - It should go nicely into some sort of lowest grade registry set.

How do you tell a bold N from a non bold N cast from the original bold N?
