Opinions on this draped bust quarter

Do you see any reason why PCGS would not grade this quarter? Also, what grade do you think they would assign to it?

The only thing I can think of is "Questionable Surfaces", but even that's a stretch. (You did ask )

This coin should also grade VF-20 and I like the look of her.

Based solely on the photo, the coin should grade at PCGS. I would grade it at F-15, though it could sneak into a 20 holder. I like the look of the coin.

Maybe I am reading more into the photo than is there, but those marks on the sheild seem to indicate some kind of damage. I am probably wrong, but I would say this coin was cleaned once a long time ago. Just my humble opinion.

When I first looked at it I said to my self VG.

Then I looked harder and I can see it as a Fine.

The rim is ok?

Should be no problem slabbing. I'd go with 15 as well.

The funkyness on the shield is from wear. I have a G03 that has a similar wear pattern.

My initial impression is that she'll slab and should earn a VF20. After seeing all the F15 comments, and looking again, maybe they are right but I still lean toward 20.
