Does Coin World charge premium prices for advertising that appears on the same page as QDB's column?
Whenever I get a new edition of Coin World, I immediately do two things--- I flip the issue until I find the new CoinRaritiesOnline advertisement, and then I locate and read QDB's article (I certainly don't look for the CW editor's editorial, which I find to be the most consistently useless and irrelevant piece of writing for someone who supposedly has 40+ years in the numismatic industry).
This got me thinking. Because QDB is so popular, does CW charge premium pricing for advertisements that appear on the same page as QDB's weekly article? It would make sense to me. It's sort of like paying a peak fare on a train during the busy times, or paying a higher price for real estate that is in a desirable part of town. Does anyone know?

the question you're asking, but I would think that ad space in the front would bring a higher price.
<< <i>QDB is popular, and a great writer, but I find his CW column even more irrelevant than BD's. >>
An insult to QDB is an insult to Longacre. Meet me for an interview at Weehawken in the morning.

Knock on the back door of the mill and ask for "Rocco"
Longacre, you have to go back to QDB school, because if you have read his column you know that advertising on the right hand page is worth more than left hand page advertising. Further, QDB's CW column always appears on the left hand page in CW. So, to answer your question, I don't think they charge premium rates for that page.
