Do oversized airtite holders exist (50+ mm)?

worldcoinguyworldcoinguy Posts: 3,030 ✭✭✭✭✭

I have an oversized 55mm medal that is currently in a flip, and I am interested in finding an airtite holder for it. Unfortunately, I am not having any success finding an airtite large enough to hold it.

Is anybody on the forum aware of a niche company that provides decent quality airtites for larger medals and exonumia?

Many thanks.

The Airtite website lists some "uncommon" holders for pieces that appear to be larger than 55mm.

Thanks for the heads up Tom. I seem to be falling between the sizes that they currently offer. Somebody thought that airtite might have offered more large sizes in the past but discontinued them due to lack of a market. I dont know if this is true or not, but I thought I would see if anybody recalled a larger holder a few years back.

This is the 55mm german medal that needs a better holder.

Capital plastics would make one for you, not sure it's air tight, but may be better than what you have.
