Grades popped . . . not a good start to the weekend

These were all freebies from hitting 75% set completion. I was hoping the Kaline would pull a 4 (though I thought it was a 3) so it would fit into my 1954 set. I never in 1 million years thought it wouldn't get holdered. I purchased it back in 1991 through an SCD mail order. Crap! Now what do I do with the dang thing? And what, exactly, is altered stock?
Oh well. At least I'm pleased with the other cards. All were purchased raw on ebay with the hopes of being in the 5/6 range. Five of the cards will go right into my set, leaving me 31 cards short of a complete 1954 set.

If the Kaline looks nice the grade on the cert shouldn't really matter.
Eye appeal is what it is all about.

Hi Steve, thanks for the kind words. The Kaline has decent eye appeal, but the problem is there is no cert because they deemed it altered. Who was altering VG cards in 1991! Dang it all!
