B. Franklin crossed but Franklin R. didn't

I sent in two NGC PF 68 Ultra Cam coins, one crossed the other didn't. They both had more frost than PCGS DCAM coins I have. The Franlin half had no toning as was noted with a "W" on the NGC holder. The Franlin dime had nice thick vivid blue toning around the rims.
So for the price of PCGS fees I can upgrade the Franlin half in my type sets. I will also sell the '62 in 67 DCAM it replaces.
I'm happy with the results. They came quickly too. I hope you all have a great day today!

On the newest form there is a place for you to write in your minimum acceptable grade. I wrote in one lower for the nickel and also a seated half dime. The half dime came back one lower.
The stock market is up so I think I'll just go for a walk and not look at any more news for the rest of the day. How could things get any better?
I recently had an NGC PR69 UCAM Ike go PR68 DCAM with PCGS. Another one in an ICG PR69 DCAM holder also went PCGS PR68 DCAM. I was a little disappointed that the NGC lost a point in crossing, but halfway expected the ICG to. (I broke all the coins out of their old holders and submitted them raw to PCGS).
That Franklin Half was super duper frosty. I guess there was some flaw in the dime I didn't see or they don't like the toning or both.
LM looks like you did OK, the ICG coins I looked at didn't even look DCAM. I lost a point on my half dime. It has die clash I find interesting but they probably took off the point for that. I left all my coins in their holders. I don't think things would be different if I took them out.
I must be running out of stuff, I don't think I can pull any more rabbits out of my hat.
