silver halves from a bank

So I decided to do a little coin hunting at some local banks. I didn't realize how tough it would be to purchase rolled coin from a bank. Most banks requiring an account there to purchase anything more then a couple rolls. I didn't expect to find many half dollars and older dollar coins but I did expect there to be atleast some. Come to find out, its rare for the bank to have any more of these coins then the dozen or so that is in there tellers tray. The teller at the bank I went to today said she did have some halves as she pulled out a small white pouch. She offered to sell me a couple of the coins but as soon as I saw that they were obviously silver I want all 20. Unfortunately this meant I had to have an account. So silly how banks require an account to sell any significant amount of coins, but I guess its to protect them from running out, "I guess". So I sat through a 15 minute new account setup, deposited my minimum $10 LOL, and then got the coins. Turns out there were 19-1969D and 1-1979. All are in pretty good condition ranging I'd say from high XF to maybe low MS. Now if I can only get some kind of setup going were the tellers hold onto unusual coin deposits for me.

I recommend that you start by bringing the teller who sold you those 20 halves a small box of quality chocolates. Then open a CD of at least $3,000.
THEN, ask if they can keep an eye out for unusual roll deposits for you.
