TTM -- Looking for addresses question

Hello
2 quick questions on obtaining an address for my TTM quest

1) I know there are several resources that are out there for lists of addresses --- which one(s) is/are the best

B) Is there a way to purchase one or a handful of addresses without buying the whole list

Thanks for the help

my boy and I use the Meiselman lists.

pony up the dough and buy the lot deal for 70.00
  • I use http://www.sportscollectors.net - their website is 14.00 per year and it allows you to see a database of success from players. Most people list the players address that they use.

If you are just looking for one or a few addresses, I am sure if you list the players names someone would PM you the addresses.

There seems to be this warped attitude by SOME autograph collectors about giving out an address. They will tell you here or in a PM to "buy the friggin Meiselmann list or join the sportscollectors.net website basically calling you a cheapskate" ( this isn't meant for anyone who has posted in this thread, rather I got lambasted by some clown a few months back when I asked for two addresses!!)

    The hell with them.

I am a member of sportscollectors.net and would be happy to provide an address, if it is available.

  • It is nice to see board members helping out. I need an address for Seau, but do not want to pay $14.00 for the opportunity to see if his info is on that site. And yes, I am cheapskate. Always have been and most likely always will be. image

  • there has been no luck sending to Seau on SC.net (0/23), most people have just sent to the Pats team address.

  • I didnt see Junior's address on Sportscollectors.net for some reason, So I sent you his address from the 08 Harvey List.
I'm not sure how well Seau signs, But good luck and let us know how it goes !

  • Thanks guys. I am going to send him some cards and ask him to sign using his given name, rather than Junior. I have plenty of those auto's in my collection. Now, to dig into my collection, to find just the right cards that will present the nicest once autographed. Thanks again guys. Much appreciated.

  • Just wondering... what is his given name?
    image
  • Wikipedia once showed this info: Tiaina Seau, Jr. as his given name. However, I just checked again so I would make sure I spelled it correctly. Now it shows his given name as: Jen Shane Seau, Jr.

Weird. So now I do not know, lol.

    Hello Again Lostdart58

You have helped me before on my quest to get Gary Carter's Rookie card signed ~~~ Roberts and Hill responded very quickly but the address for Danny Meyer is "vacant" as per the Post Office and lucky for me the card was returned. Was wondering if there might be a new/recent/changed one out there somewhere --- I really only need Meyer's

    Thanks

  • Okay, according to the Junior Seau Foundation website (www.juniorseau.org), his name is Tiaina Seau Jr.

Also, he chose #55 in college because his dads 55th birthday was coming up.

  • He also confirmed that Tiaina is his given name on the Howard Stern show a few days before the Super Bowl.

Nathan, I was thinking, You may want to try and send it to Seau under his given name. I 'm sure everyone else sends it under Junior, and if he sees one addressed to his given name I think he would be more likely to respond to it..

If you will post a message over there on the message boards someone may be able to help you. I only have the Harvey 08 Football list so I dont have it.
It looks like someone sent to him in 2002 and got back 3 of 3, So it looks like he does sign, Just hard to find.

    Good Luck.

That is exactly was I was thinking earlier.

I might also have my wife send it from work. It will really get his attention when he sees US Capitol on the envelope.

  • In your opinions, which service would be best for baseball and basketball autos? I don't mind paying the fees.

According to the PUBLIC records "Tiaina" paid $3.2 CASH for this place in Oceanside in 2005. It would appear he lives there as the tax bills are also sent to that address.

    Seau,Tiaina B Jr
    604 S The Strand
    Oceanside, CA 92054

There is another property in Oceanside, bought in 1990 for $250k with a $160k mortgage. It has the tax bills going to a PO Box.

    Mail Address: PO BOX 881264
    SAN DIEGO, CA 92168
Site Address: 4042 VIA DE LA PAZ
    OCEANSIDE, CA 92057

  • The more the merrier. Looks like I will be sending out multiple requests in the near future.

    Thanks for the info

I think I will stay away from that address, as it might be a home purchased for a family member. image

While working on my 1984 Cubs TTM autos I came across a delima. Do you think if I sent a card to someon in Jail they would send it back? They really would not have much else to do....
