There are a number of reputable unopened sellers out there; the key is to get to know your fellow collectors and to do your homework. Steve is great, but even he buys his product from outside sources, too.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Most of the unopened is ending up in auctions, unless they sell to BBCExchange. After BBCExchange, I would say Dave Adams, but their supply is limited. What are you looking for? Some, like me, do not necessarily want to sell, but may move stuff for trades or the right price. Careful on eBay. Even some GAI stuff is suspect.
Steve is a great guy to deal with and i have been dealing with him for quite a few years now with hockey. All hockey wax that i have purchased from him has been shrinkwrapped and noted with steves signature.Jason martin from martin sportscards in guelph ontario is an honest opeechee and topps hockey (bit of ball) guy that had a ton of wax including 79 opc gretzky boxes but his stock has dried up quite a bit. Please be carefull on ebay with wax, especially 79 topps hockey packs.Avoid ungraded packs as 90% of them have been resealed and a few that are gai graded that slipped through.I have info of a site with around 75 collectors of unopened wax that know there stuff, know the resealers, the frauds and post alerts when garbage is listed on ebay.PM me if you need any help regarding wax and good luck.
